C-MOUNT is a standard thread mount used on 16mm movie cameras such as Bolex and Beaulieu. It is also a standard on various types of CCTV cameras and other special application devices. The thread itself is 1 inch diameter. CS-Mount is the same fitting but has a shorter film/sensor to lenge flange register distance.

C-Mount / 35mm lens adaptors Use 35mm film SLR lenses on C-Mount cameras. Some digital SLR lenses can be used, but they may only operate at full aperture.
