As we supply filters of our own manufacture, we usually have the more popular filter mounts available from stock. These can be used for a variety of different purposes. Unlike our range of spacer rings, these come complete with the retaining ring to hold the filter glass. Most mounts are designed to accept filters of approx 2mm thickness. It is possible to accommodate filter discs up to 3mm thickness, but there will be no residual filter thread in the front of the mount to accept other accessories such as a lens cap or lens hood
If it is the intention to replace the mount on an existing filter, please be aware that these mounts may take a different size filter disc to the one you already have. If you send us the existing filter, let us see if we can remount it for you.
