Convert from an odd size lens to a more common (and inexpensive) accessory size

Convert from a bayonet fitting lens to an easily available screw accessory size

Use filters and accessories from you 'old' system on your new camera
If the step ring you need does nor exist as a single item, try combining rings together. E.G. if you want to use 77mm accessories on a 46mm threaded lens, select a 46/58 and a 58/77.
