 Some compact digital cameras with extending lenses have an accessory mounting thread on the camera body around the base of the lens. Accessories such as digiscoping mounts, filters and add-on lenses are fitted using a stepping sleeve which fits to this thread and enables the lens to move freely inside the sleeve. The sleeve usually has a standard filter thread at the front end.
As compact digital cameras have a very short retail life, it can sometimes be very difficult to obtain the sleeve for your camera before it is discontinued. Should you be unable to obtain the sleeve you require from normal retail outlets, let us know as we can always quote for making one specially for you. We do hold a selection of the more long-lived sleeves.
